1958 Brothers Partap and Gulu Lalvani founded Binatone company in Great Britain.

1950s Binatone was selling transistor radio-receivers. The company was the first to use the colour spectrum for the electronics in the British isles.

1970s Binatone was the first to launch a video-game in Great Britain. The demand on the game got beyond all the expectations. After that the company launched a cassette player, a Walkman analogue. Due to the flexible price policy and its high quality Binatone's counterpart left behind its only competitor Sony.

The end of 1970s Binatone products can be found in every fourth home in Great Britain.

In May 2004 Binatone declared itself as a competent participant of the telecommunications market when it launched its own models of corded, cordless and DECT telephones. All the models meet the latest developments in the field of production of modern telecom equipment. A wide range of functions makes them indispensable both at home and office.
